Scholarship Recipients
We held our annual Catholic education
essay this year . the title was "How does my participation in the
Mass make me a better Catholic". This years recipients are
Collin Solozano for Jordan Catholic School
Kristin Highfill for Alleman Catholic High School
And the recipient for the Gene McGonigle Scholarship this year is Jeremy
Keim. Congratulation to all the recipients.
Awards Dinner
This years awards dinner was held at O'Melia's Supper club on April 28th. Given out at the dinner were the checks to the two organization chosen for this years MRLD drive. S.P.E.C. (Special people encounter Christ) and The New Kingdom Trail Riders. Also given out at the dinner was the Senior Knight of the Year to Dick Meyers and Knight of the Year to Charlie Moore. Charlie's wife Mary attended the dinner as our guest and accepted the award.

About our Council
St. Ambrose Knights of Columbus Council was founded in 2000. It was
named after our home parish, St. Ambrose Parish. The St. Ambrose
Knights of Columbus Council works closely with the St. Ambrose Parish in
Milan Illinois, providing; funds for various projects, members being
active participants in their parish. etc.
